of precepting Marissa from October through November 2015, I believe she will make an

During Marissa's five-week preceptorship, she showed a phenomenal amount of personal and
professional growth. She demonstrated her ability to apply required nursing knowledge while
exhibiting critical thinking skills. Additionally, Marissa was receptive and adaptive to the
demands and challenges of the environment. Furthermore, the gentleness and compassion
embodied by Marissa was evident in the care that she provided her patients and families during
her time on the unit. Marissa is conscientious, professional, focused, and eager to learn- all
characteristics that were well received by the current staff, both on the pediatric and PICU units.
Therefore, it is without question that Marissa exudes outstanding nursing potential and would
make an excellent addition to your pediatric intensive care team here at Tucson Medical Center.
