Fulfill the design aspect requirement of the contract with maintenance of

equipment

Review design aspect of A/C & provision systems for marine application

Perform engineering design & provide technical back-up

Assist the Commissioning Engineer in trouble shooting of A/C provision

systems at site if necessary or at the request of operations/support
department

Coordinate with Sales and Project Engineer In-Charge to ensure procurements

is processed in advance to meet contractual schedule

Review contractual specifications, drawings and required design inputs to

help establish list of engineering documents to be produced

Responsible for preparing engineering schedule plan for Project/Asst Project

Manager to help monitor the progress of project completion

Ensure that all-engineering designs progress schedule is planned in

accordance with the contractual requirements

Ensure that all engineering designs, technical drawings and appropriate

standards used are properly documented

Ensure that engineering drawings filing and technical manual compilation are
in accordance with procedures and process control

Verify Project Engineers procurements in Material List and request for

relevant documents from suppliers

Ensure that non-conformity report is raised as and when necessary

Ensure that non-conformances are promptly resolved by means of

investigation and corrective action

Support pre-sales proposals and ensure tenders are properly reviewed

together with the sales personnel to help meet customers requirements

Verify and ensure that scope of work and supplies comply to order only

Ensure that additional purchases are recorded and submitted for approval to
Project Manager and Purchaser

Monitor tasks being assigned to engineers

Review design drawings and job specifications

Any other associated tasks and responsibilities as assigned from time to time

Perform and ensure accuracy of analysis, calculation and reporting on engineering/requisitioning activities
as per project schedules.

Ensure contractual technical specification are met and adheres to the committed man-hours and budgets.

Ability to read and understand project specification like P&ID, material specification equipment specification
& etc.

Provide design engineering for skid layout, pipe/ cable tray routing, E&I in 2D & 3D

Experience in piping detail design in plot plan, conceptual pipe routing, piping layout, equipment layout
ISOs, experience in pipe rack load and stress calculation skill are advantage.

Liaise with client/contractor on technical and commercial clarifications.

Prepare and review studies and documents related to jackets and topsides structural design.

Resolve design related issues by applying accepted principals, codes and standards.

Plan, schedule and provide work direction when required for preparation of studies, design, processes,
reports, correspondence and related data.

Review designs for new facilities using calculations and software to ensure compliance with client and
international standards.

Responsible for fabrication shop drawing design with weld map, using CAD for 2D & 3D in Cadworx
Software.

Carries out design related to mechanical/piping systems.

Prepare technical specification for purchase and evaluate technical quotation for vendors

Review design and drawings

Provide technical and cost estimating support for tender project.
