General Rules and Regulations:


The rules and regulations for participating the 2nd International Nature Summit-2016 are
1. Students of Grade 7-12 and University are eligible for the competition.
2. Candidates must register their names online at www.greeninspiration.weebly.com on or
before January 15, 2016 after primary selection round.
3. A participant should carry his/her identity card of the institution. He can take part in one or
more events, but must mention it during the Registration.

4. Candidates will sit for the Olympiad-2015, on Friday (Feb. 1216) at 11:00 am. at their
assigned rooms, notified on the spot.
5. Only one student may present a Photography, Nature olympiad, Confab, Turn Coat.
6. A team of two member may present eco-friendly project, wall magazine.
7. All events of "GREEN INSPIRATION" will be conducted in English.

For Green Bee (Nature Olympiad):


Candidates wants to compete in the Nature Olympiad must register their name online through the
website on or before January. 15, 2016 . The syllabus for Junior (Nature, its element, natural
resources, global climate issues) , Senior (Understanding environment, Pollution, control measures,
natural resources, green house gas, ozone layer depletion, acid rain and climate change) ,
University level ( Fundamentals of environment, Environmental agencies, climate change, green
house gas, pollution control measures, ecology, resource management, geography carbon
sequestration).
Question Pattern: MCQ, Fill in the blanks, Matching table, Concept map.
Time Duration: 1 hour. Competition: Friday-Day 1 at 11:30am.

For Wall Magazine:


Candidates wants to compete in the Wall Magazine Competition must be in a group of two and
can submit only one (01) Wall Magazine. They have to submit it on or before Jan. 25, 2016 to our
representative. The theme this year is Climate Change, Sustainablity, Green Revolution.
Display: Day 1(from 9 to 4pm) & 2 (from 9 to 2pm)
Judgment: Day 2 at 1:30pm. During judgment the participants must be present.
Size: Standard

Ornaments: Open to all.

For Slogan:
Candidates wants to compete in the slogan Competition must participate individually. They have
to submit it on or before Jan. 25, 2016 to our representative. The theme this year is Climate
Change, Sustainablity, Green Revolution.
Display: Day 1(from 9 to 4pm) & 2 (from 9 to 2pm)
Judgment: Day 2 at 1:30pm. During judgment the participants must be present.
Size: Standard

Ornaments: Open to all.

For Photography Exhibition:


Participants will have to register their name during the registration period. Candidates wants to
compete in the Photography Exhibition must submit their photos in 4R Size with a full Photoinformation (Venue, Time, Exposure) on or before January. 15, 2016 to our representative. The
theme this year is Nature & Environment, Climate Change & its impact. A participant can
submit a maximum of Five (05) Photographs along with his own PP size Photo as well as his/her
personal profile. Besides this, all the participant will be taken in a nature conservation area where
they have to shoot photograph and have to submit the soft copy with the file name. Based on the
marks in the current and submitted photo, the prize will be offered for 1st, 2nd & 3rd .
Display: Day 1(from 9 to 4pm) & 2 (from 9 to 2pm) ; Judgment: Day 2 at 1:00pm. During judgment
the participants must be present. Photo Shoot: day 1 (from 2:30pm to 4pm)

For Environment-Friendly Project Display:


Candidates wants to participate in the Environment-Friendly Project Display, must be in a group
of two and have to register their names and Project Title on or before January 15, 2016 to our
representative. The theme this year is Sustainable energy, Pollution free environment, Green
Revolution. They must set up their Projects on Friday Feb.12, 2016 within 8:00 to 9:00 am.
Competition: Day 1(from 12:30pm to 4pm) & 2 (from 9 to 12pm)
Judgment: Day 2 at 12:00pm. During judgment the participants must be present.
Eco-Friendly Project RULES

You will be required to submit an abstract and a project description paper detailing your
project as part of the application process.
The abstract should be less than 500 words and should include the goal, experiments, and
the results.
The project description paper should include: title, student names, school, city and country,
abstract, introduction, goal of the project, methods and experiments, results and discussions,
conclusion, and references.
At the Fair: You will present your project as a poster presentation during GREEN
INSPIRATION. You are allowed to bring demos or prototypes to present as part of your
presentation.
The size of your poster can not be bigger than 40 (h) x 60 (w) inches (100(h) x 150(w) cm)
size. It is recommended to be between 30-38 (h) x 48-54 (w) inches (75-95 cm x 125-130 cm).
GREEN INSPIRATION will provide foam poster boards in size of 40x60 inches.
The poster should include at least the following sections: introduction, goal, results and
discussion, conclusion, and references.
A table will be provided for every project . You have to arrange necessary electrical
instruments required but we can provide electrical connection on request

Students are advised (not required) to bring multiple copies of their final research paper to
distribute to curious viewers.
Students should come to the competition with pre-printed materials to prepare their
posters.
At the Fair: The following items will not be allowed to display: microbial cultures or fungi
(live or dead); displays of live animals, preserved vertebrate animals, whether in whole or part
(this includes humans); open or concealed flames, matches, or lighters; hazardous chemicals;
highly combustible solids, fluids, or gases; sharp items (syringes, needles, knives); controlled
substances; and radioactive materials.
Each Team may present only one project. A maximum of two students may present a
project.
In all aspects of projects, the participants must maintain integrity.
Participants must avoid any misconduct or fraud, such as falsifying data or records, and
piracy or plagiarism (presenting the work of another persons as ones own).
All competitors and supervisors have to communicate in English well enough to present
their projects.
There is no limit how many projects may be submitted from same school/organization.
Also, there is no limit how many projects from one school can be finalist.
All projects from same school or organization should be submitted under one application
login in order to control communication and projects more efficiently.
Projects which do not submit requested required information on time in the requested
format shall be disqualified.
The panels of judges evaluate the projects in accordance with the following criteria:

To what extent is the project technologically applicable and likely to be realised?


To what extent is it visionary and/or innovative?
Is the project well structured and clearly communicated?
To what extent is the project likely to have a positive environmental or energy
impact?

For Confab Seminar:

Candidates wanting to participate in the Confab Seminar of 5 minute duration must have to
submit 10 slides (Power Point Presentation) to register their names on or before January 15, 2016
through the official website of GREEN INSPIRATION. The theme this year is "Think Green, Live
Green" ( For Junior level) ; Climate Change & its impacts Perspective own country(For
Senior level) or Carbon Sequestration.(For University Level) Competition: Day 2 at 10:30 am

For Turn Coat :


Candidates wants to participate in the Turn Coat will have to register their names on or before
January 15, 2016 through the official website of GREEN INSPIRATION. The theme will be given to
the participant 20 minutes before the event. Each team will nominate one participant. Each
participant will get 2+2 minutes, first 2 for the case and next two against the motion. Topic will be
any content from Nature & Environment, climate change, sustainability.
Competition: Day 2 at 10:30 am (auditorium).
