Education. I start teaching in 2000 in Qatar school nearly for three

years, then I came to the UAE after marriage and started to teach in
Kindergarten level, then I come to Al Andalus School to teach the
elementary level and I was here for nine years.
2- Wow, it is interesting. When did you decide to become a
teacher, and why did you choose this field?
Mmm, actually when I was in grade 12, I thought teaching is a good
job and it's suitable for me.
3- Explain your experience with first class you taught in
the beginning teaching and how you prepare?
I used sweets and games. I tried to use some techniques that I
learnt in the university.
And for which grade was that?
It's was for grade 7.
4- What are the difficulties you faced when you start
teaching?
The most difficulty that I faced was managing the classroom.
Why?
Because the students were out of my control and they do whatever
they want.
5- What is the most difficult aspect of teaching today?
Making sure that all students achieved the lesson's objectives and
they understood the main idea of it.
6- As you said that you got nearly 10 years' experience,
what are the differences and changes in teaching in
your opinion since you graduated to the present days?
Did you adapt with these changes or not? And why?
Actually, I got 12 years' experience. When I was a beginner,
classroom management was a problem for me. Later on, I learnt
how to be very patient because each student has different cases.

grade two and five, what strategies did you use to deal
with your students?
For grade two, I use the cooperative learning and for grade five, I
use the mini-teacher strategy.
8- Nowadays we are in the age of technology, in your
opinion, using technology in the classroom is helpful for
you and how do you apply it in your own teaching class?
Technology helps a lot to give information in many different ways.
For example, using data show for showing videos and presenting the
lessons and playing online games that are related to the lessons.
9- Describe the management strategies and techniques
you use to maintain an effective classroom
environment.
Keep students busy all the time by giving them extra activities such
as solving puzzles and form words from cubes.
10-What rules do you have for your classroom?
Keep calm, eyes on the teacher, walk in the classroom and raise
your hands if you have an answer.
11-Describe your teaching style and how you
accommodate the different learning styles of the
students in your classes.
I like to use variety teaching styles from individuals, in pairs and in
groups to whole class.
12-How would you challenge the slow learner and the
advanced learner within the same class?
Have groups according to the students' levels by giving the
advanced learners challenging activities or let them help other
groups as a mini-teacher. For the slow learners, I have to guide them
and give them some activities that will support their learning.

13-What language you used in your classroom?
English.
What about Arabic language?
Sometimes I use Arabic for explain meanings and new vocabulary.
14-Give an example of how you have used cooperative
learning in your classroom.
In activity time, I use cooperative learning in my class such as
making posters, cutting and pasting materials.
15-Can you tell me about a successful behavior
management strategy you have used in the past that
helped engage a pupil or group of pupils?
Use reward system as reinforcement and stickers for individuals at
the beginning of the class, during the activities and at the end of the
class to evaluate their understanding.
16-Describe your teaching style.
I create a quiet, safe teaching environment. In my routines to start
the class, first I greet them, and then I call the name of each group
one by one to stand in line and sit on the carpet at circle time.
During circle time I revise with them the last lesson and give them a
new lesson by using a small white board and give them instruction
to do the activity. After that, they will return to their groups to do the
rest of the activities.
17-How do you structure your time to manage all of the
duties associated with teaching?
I start with most important duties by making weekly lesson plans,
preparing activities and the materials.
18-What is your approach to classroom management?
I believe that good classes depend on good class management, so I
advise you to have a good control over your class.

to this interview or suggest something for me?
Yes, I have one advice for you, when you teach in the future, always
have fun and forget your personal life at the moment that you enter
