Intern School Counselor. Saturday program which focused on assisting high school students around New York
Citys five boroughs in their academics, career aspirations, and the college process. Led boys group around
developing smart goals and future career aspirations. Led whole group workshops on the topic of college survival.
Led academic, social, and career focused individual sessions. Assisted in career fair in which over 100 students
participated.
SUCCESS CHARTER NETWORK

4th Grade Lead Teacher. Worked in a self-contained classroom with 27-30 students. Had 100% of students pass the
2015 New York State Math Test. Daily curriculum included; reading, writing and math workshops, guided reading,
and Cognitively Guided instruction in math. Daily differentiation occurs in all subject areas, as well as small groups
being pulled in each core content area.
1st, 2nd, and 3rd Grade Lead Teacher
Taught both Terc Investigations and Cognitively Guided Instruction in math. Led whole class reading workshop and
guided reading groups. Pulled out tutoring groups in math, reading and writing. Effectively pushed students to
achieve at least 1-2 years of growth in reading on average.
Intervention Teacher. Worked primarily with 2nd grade students at a top performing charter school that needed
extra support outside of the classroom. Assisted by pushing into whole class instruction and also lead self-contained
math, guided reading, and writing small groups.

college graduates and professionals who commit two years to teach in under-resourced public schools. Participate in

public schools under the supervision of a faculty of experienced teachers. Engage in professional development
activities, including seminars, discussion groups, workshops, individual and group reflections, readings, and
