Philosophy of Education
With a growing global society its important that students are receiving
the best education possible. My goal for my future classroom is to challenge
students and watch them grow. As educators, I believe we owe it to our
students to push them to reach their maximum capacity. By using multiple
teaching techniques, understanding how to bring a global awareness into my
classroom, and building a supportive learning team the students in my class
will have the tools to succeed.
As teachers we are there to motivate our students. In my classroom it
is important to me to have a positive, supportive, and safe environment. To
help students learn I will design a curriculum that is intriguing for students,
incorporating hands on activities and technology. I believe when you stick
with a student, and that student sees you are there in a supportive way, they
are more motivated to perform better. I believe classrooms should always
have a supportive atmosphere that responds to every students needs. I
believe students must become critical thinkers and problem solvers.
Today in education, I believe it does more than teach students
academic needs but also values, interpersonal relations, and connections to
the world. When I look at my teaching career I want to work in a low-income
school that is rich in diversity. I believe understanding and learning about
different cultures brings a global dynamic to the classroom.
Through use of multiple teaching techniques, understanding how to
bring global awareness into my classroom, and building a supportive learning

team I will help promote motivated learners. As educators, I believe its our
duty to help students believe in themselves through encouragement and
support.
