Procedures:

Beginning of day:
Come in class, put your backpacks up and go to your seat.
Look on the board for instructions.
Turn in your homework to the appropriate folders.
Get your planners out and fill them in.
When finished with planner, look on board for norming activity.
When finished with morning activity get your book out and silently read.
The teacher will then take roll and lunch count.
End of Day:
Tables will be dismissed to get their mail out of mailboxes.
Team leaders will sharpen their tables pencils for the next day.
Highlight in your planner the homework you have.
Make sure your homework and notes are on the correct side in your take home folder.
(One side= leave at home, other side= Return to school)
Clean up area and around desk.
Check the board for any special announcements.
Wait patiently at desk tell bell rings.
Sharpening Pencils:
At the end of the day the team leaders in each group will sharpen their tables pencils.
Going

to the teachers desk:


When the teacher is at her desk you should raise your hand if you have a question.
If it is an emergency you may come up.
If the teacher is in conversation with a student or adult stay seated tell the conversation is
over.

Taking tests:
During tests the team leaders will retrieve the privacy shields from the back of the room
for each student at their table.
During a test you should not have anything on your desk.
If caught peaking over privacy shield or at another persons paper your test will be taken
away and you will not receive a grade.
Lunchroom:
When receiving food in the lunch line you always say please and thank you.
If you do not like something all you need to say is no thank you. Do not make a disgusted
face and tell the lunch helper you hate that item. If over heard by a teacher you will
receive a clip down.
At lunch you should stay seated
Keep an indoor voice
Lining up for recess:
You are to line up in ABC quickly and quietly.
When you get up, push in your chair.
If students cant line up quietly the first time they will return back to their chair tell they
can perform this task without talking and messing around.
While walking in the hall voices should be off and hands behind your back.
