SAFETY
Attention new teachers!!! For fire drills, it is important that you bring down your
emergency folder with all student contact sheets in it. In the event that we have to
evacuate and go to another location; it imperative that we have parent(s)/guardian(s)
contact information. Please reach out to your mentors and/or grade leader if you
have any questions.
In addition, any staff member who has any questions/concerns about Lockdowns
and Shelter-Ins please feel free to contact Craig Robinson x3541 or Melissa

Gudied Reading Books

Guided reading book sets are on the shelves in the closet in the back of the library.
Please sign out for these books in the white binder which is on one of the shelves.
Return the books promptly so another teacher will be able to use them. Thank you.

Extra classroom books in library:

Teachers - extra books for your classroom use have been organized in the library by
fiction, science, and social studies. Please feel free to take some of these books for
your classroom use. Do not take more than 6 copies of one title.
Curriculum Writers - please look through the social studies books ASAP to take
what you may need for the units of study you are planning with Julie Le Guen.
For all Special Education teachers: Please be sure to hand in Progress Reports by
November 3rd to Ms. Rigaglia (you can either put them in her mailbox or bring
them to room 359.) Please keep in mind that SESIS has a scheduled maintenance
planned for the weekend, which might limit your access.
Teacher Removals: - Please ensure that students from your class who are placed
on a teachers removal have a packet of work to sustain them independently for an
entire day. If you are a teacher who is receiving a student on a teacher removal
please do not place these students on the computer since that is seen as a reward. If
students complete their work please have them do the work your class is doing.
