and Education at the
Harvard Graduate School of Edu

atHarvard University. He is
currently the Senior Director of
Harvard Project Zero, and since
1995, he has been the codirector of the Good Project.He
is best known for his The
Theory of Multiple
Intelligences(1983).

Gardner defines
intelligence as
an ability or set of
abilities that allows
a person to solve a
problem or fashion
a product that is
valued in one or
more cultures.
