Goals for three years are established and reviewed by district administration. School
principals and teachers evaluated students data in order to assess how technology plan
can help at school achievement. Computer managers discussed about purchasing and
renewing the equipment from vendor. Parents were invited to several meetings to share
their ideas for the implementation of technology plan.

Summarize the plans major curricular and professional

development outcomes that are supported by research.
Nowadays, everyones life is filled with technology, iPads, smartphones, laptops,
Chromebook, kindle, etc. All these equipments with their Internet connection gives us
access to thousands of information and resources. With the help of technology we can
be a part of the world, by collaborating, sharing ideas, supporting each other. Each of us
is inspired, motivated regardless of our languages, nationalities, or disabilities

technology in five spheres: learning, assessment, teaching, infrastructure and

productivity. The 21st century learning focuses what and how to teach to the learners
according to their needs and goals.

Describe the connection between the research and the plans

goals.
The connection between the research and the plans goals is that the technology makes
possible to more learning resources than the traditional classroom instruction. Ondemand learning is now within reach, supporting learning that is life-long and life-wide
(Bransford et al., 2006).

Describe information gathered from site visits, including best

practices.
The NETP provides not only learning but also gaining skills such as critical thinking,
complex problem solving, collaboration and multimedia communication. These skills are
essential to become expert learners to the rapidly changing world. Moreover, TFA.net, a
website for all new educators, which stands for Teach for America, offers valuable
resources for teachers.
