Every professional institute needs to have system in placed that measures its ongoing
performance and develops plans for the future. Schools have the one of the dynamic
systems among all organizations and needs to meet with the local governments, parents,
students and communitys expectations. Every school must have a plan designed to
improve current technology level, students and teacher competencies in order to achieve
this goal.
The main target of the technology growth is improved learning and teaching. Increasing
the level of the technology usage and the quality of the work done in the campus.
Adapting technology into curriculum is another key component of the plan that enables
every individual to receive appropriate reflective of technology application.
Technology plan is not a simple plan that keeping the current inventory and focuses on
purchasing new technology to campus. It is more emphasizes establishing carrier goals,
includes professional development strategies.
By starting with an organization's mission and priorities, a technology plan
helps to clarify where opportunities exist to improve infrastructure or deliver
services in a new way(Technology Planning, 2008)

ducking station, projector which is already installed. For the 6th-12th grade students,
school has Chromebooks for them to take even at home and finish their homework.
2- How are hardware and software currently being used in classrooms at each grade
level and in each content area?
Starting from last year, school started to implement extended learning hours in Math and
ELA by increasing those classes hours into master schedule by using online learning
tools called ALEX. Middle school students between 6th grades through 12th grades have
been assigned a user name and password for that online software and a Chromebook to
achieve this goal. School has been adapted Accelerated Reading system in the curriculum
to engage students in reading. Every individual student required to read book and take the
test. So school assigned a desktop to each K-5th class a desktop.

Internet Safety and the appropriate and ethical use of technology in the
classroom.
1- What are the LEAs curriculum goals and plans for assisting students to meet
technology literacy and information literacy skills?
The aim for the supporting students to meet the literacy are extending the learning
beyond school walls, interactive multimedia classes and described how a student can get
access to online textbook.
2- How are technology and literacy skills implemented in content area lessons?
Online learning tool (ALEX) has been embedded in Math and English courses. To spend
more time in those courses, the numbers of the hours were increased. Accelerated
Reading is also implemented in Reading classes. To reach this goal, school assigned a
specific teacher as reading specialist and authorized her to follow up how the students
progresses. This teacher regularly keeps track of classes and students level by using
certain software.
