LEARNING OBJECTIVES
GLO 1: students will listen, speak, read, write, view, and represent to explore thoughts,
ideas, feelings, and experiences.
SLO 1.1 (Discover and Explore) Experiment with language and forms: use a variety
of oral, print, and other media texts to organize and give meaning to experiences, ideas,
and information.
GLO 4: students will listen, speak, read, write, view, and represent to enhance the clarity
and artistry of communication.
SLO 4.2 (Attend to Conventions) Attend to grammar and usage: identify nouns
and verbs, and use it in own writing.
Students will:
1. Discover nouns in written text.
2. Identify common and proper nouns.
3. Create original writing using proper and common nouns.
