have a direct relationship and there are
factors that have laid the foundations for,
and contributed to, expanding globalization
since the Second World War.

Essential Questions:
1. To what extent does globalization contribute to sustainable prosperity
for all people?
2. To what extent did world events shape contemporary economic
globalization?
3. To what extent do contemporary factors contribute to expanding
globalization?
4. To what extent does globalization affect sustainability?
5. To what extent can globalization bring sustainable prosperity to all
people?

in other countries, and how sustainable their
lifestyle is.
These questions will guide students through our
exploration of the topic: to what extent does
globalization affect sustainability? This will allow
students to consider and explore the information
immediately throughout the use.

comparison of the ecological footprint and
sustainability of Canada, Bangladesh and a third
country of their choosing.
