Tesla's Inventions, Top Ten Life Changing.

Alternating Current
This was invented in 1893. Edison tried using direct current to power cities which was a
very inefficient when compared to Tesla's AC power. DC power had to have a DC station every
two miles, it had to remain a low voltage and would randomly send sparks flying so it wasnt
very safe. AC could be safely used in high voltages and travel hundreds of miles without any
boosters, it was also a lot cheaper. Edison tried
making people believe that Tesla's invention
was still dangerous so Tesla demonstrated that
he could send the current through his own body
and produce light.

Light (harnessed and distributed)

Tesla developed and used fluorescent bulbs about 40 years before the industry said they
were "invented." He created the first neon signs for
a fair by bending glass tubes into different scientists
names. The Tesla coil he invented was one of the
most impressive. It uses the Earths magnetic pull to
generate electricity.
X-Rays

Tesla Coil

He invented these in the late 1800's. Twain took one of the first photographs of Tesla
using fluorescent light, Tesla wanted him to take another using a Crookes tube, which is an
electrical device. When he looked at the picture he thought it was ruined because it was all
spotted. A few weeks later a German scientists announced that he invented x-radiation by using a

Crookes tube. Tesla went back to look at the picture and realized that the reason it turned out like
that was because of metal screws on the camera. In
1896 Tesla announced that he had x-rays of a man by
designing and using his own tubes. He got an x-ray he
took of someone's foot in a shoe using a special
vacuum tube he invented himself.
Radio

Tesla's first X-Ray of a mans foot

Tesla demonstrated this in 1893 at the Natural

Electric Light Association in a presentation, it is a
frequency that just needs a transmitter and receiver.
Marconi took credit for this in 1943 and got a patent for it.
Remote Control

Tesla's Radio Invention

In 1898 Tesla demonstrated a remote control

model boat, by using his earlier invention of the radio.
Electric Motor
Invented in 1930, now used today for industrial
fans, household appliances, water pumps, machine tools,

power tools, disk drives, electric wristbands and compressors.

Robotics

He invented these using all the information that was available. He never pulled out the
element of a human, they were always needed to operate them because he wanted them to have
limitations.
Laser
These are now being used for surgical applications, and inventors are trying to turn them
into deadly weapons, like laser guns and "death rays."
Wireless Communications and Limitless Free Energy
Tesla was given $150,000, from J.P. Morgan, to create a tower that used natural
frequencies to transmit data. This of course was free of charge, images, voice sound, and texts
could be sent wirelessly to other people. Tesla tried to make them free for everyone but the
government didnt want people to receive this for free but put a price on it.
