b.htm This article was written by a reported named Linda Lowen. Lowen is a
Womens Issues Expert, and has worked with About news for a few years
already. This article explains, and gives examples on why a women would

choose abortion as an option. The most common reason why women choose
abortion is because of the financial instability. To give birth to a baby, in a
hospital in the US can be very expensive. According to this article, hospitals can
charge the patients up to $10,000, and an estimated of $200,000 spend on the
child till his 17 years old. So many couples dont have this kind of money to raise
a child. Other reasons can be, because the mother was too young, and she would
have to drop out of school. Other reasons are because of unwanted sex, rape, the
victim should not have a constant reminder of that horrifying event. Other
reasons are because of the family. This article gives all the possible reasons why
someone would choose abortion, and it gives advice if its the right choose.

Retrieved from http://qz.com/521067/the-truth-about-how-women-get-abortions-inamerica/
The author of this website is very fair for both sides of the debate of abortion. Merelli,
the author of this article explains the legislature behind abortion. The main issue of
abortion started in 1973 in the Roe v. Wade case 43 years ago. This case was won in
favor of abortion, and it gave American Women the constitutional right to get an
abortion. However, courts from each state can ruled restriction or altogether ban
abortions. This states seek this decision by the fetal viability. If the fetus was able to live
outside the mothers womb, an abortion cant be done. The article also informs the
reader about the laws that other countries have towards abortion. In the UK there is a
limit of 24 weeks before the procedure cant be perform, in France 12 weeks, Italy 90

days, and we the US dont have specific weeks, but there is a limit depending on the fetal
viability. It also talks about the necessity of legal abortion, and the safety of it. If
abortion is illegal, than if performed it would be having too many issues. Before legal
abortion 40 million women died, and after 2011, only 10 deaths.

This article from CNN, has been kept in there CNN library, but has recently been
updated, on April of this year. What this article tells us, is about the case that was held

by the US Supreme Court back in 1973. A lawyer sue a former Dallas district attorney,
Henry Wade, for passing a law in Texas that only allowed abortion if the mother was in
some health problem. McCorvey, or know was Roe, brought her case to the Supreme
Court where she won in a decision of 7-2. The abortion was legal after that in all 50
states, years later in 2001 Wade dies, but in 2003 McCorvey (Jane Roe) files in for a
motion to the Supreme Court, to overturn the case. She had evidence that abortions hurt
women, and she had 1000 affidavits from patients who had regretted abortion. Her
request was denied.

TFP, is a website for The American Society of the Defense of Tradition, Family and
Property. The author of this article is unknown, the article claims TFP to be the creator
of the article, perhaps a collaboration of several authors. However, at the end of the
article the website does cite several journals, and other websites. This organizations has
been against all of the liberal actions that have been taking place in our nation. In this
article TFP is a bit bias on what they are trying to say about abortion, and focus on the
fact that it is against Gods will. The website gives ten reason why abortion is wrong,
one of them is based on religion, and God not allowing abortion. A few other reasons are
based on the safety of the mother, and what they are doing to the fetus, that after 20 days
there heart if already beating. The article also gives facts on abortion, since the Roe v.

Wade case in in 1973, 56 million unborn children have been killed, being more than the
population of Spain, and 155 unborn babies per hour.

This article was written by a few doctors from different organizations that contribute with
AbortionFacts.com. This article was written to inform people who are considering
abortion, it informs them of the options there is, and the effects of it. They are two types
that are most common in the US to be used by physicians. The first one is a set of pills,
the first pill is called RU-486, and this pill is taken after the mother misses her period.
This pill blocks the progesterone to reach the fetus, without this the baby wont survived.
This procedure stops the food, fluid, and oxygen to reach the baby. By using this pill the
women will experience nausea, cramping, vomiting and bleeding. After this, the second
drug is given for the body to get rid of the fetus. The women will than expel a little dead
human being. The second most used procedure in the US is a vacuum, a plastic tube goes
inside the mother womb with a little knife, than the fetus, and the placenta are sucked into
a bottle. Other procedures are similar, some destroyed the fetus inside the mother womb
before sucking it out. Very unhuman.
