Thislessonwillbringtostudentsopportunitiestoenterintoartcompetitionsfor
scholarshipsaswellasshows.Thepurposeofthislessonistointroducestudentstothe
conceptofselfpromotionintheartworld.
Summary:
Studentswillanalyzeordiscernwhatshowsareoptionsforthemtoenter.They
willbeinformedonthedifferenttypesofartcompetitionsavailabletothemashighschool
studentsincludingthegalleryshowsandawards.Throughanpresentationandhandoutwith
linksandQRcodestositesonthecompetitionsofshows.Thestudentswillbeassignedto
competeinoneoftheprovidedcompetitionsorothersifapprovedbytheteacher.The
studentswilllookthroughthedifferentoptionsandanalyzethem.Thestudentswillthenpick
acompetitionstoenterandcreateaworktofitthespecificationsofthatcompetition.The
studentswillenterthecompetitionthattheyhavechosen.Studentswillsubmitaphotoorcopy
