Graduate degree in Social Sciences, Agriculture, Economics, Community Development or


any related course

Minimum of three years work experience in development work, particularly in implementing


food security and livelihood projects.

Has undergone relevant training on micro-finance management, participatory research,


monitoring and evaluation methods and micro-enterprise development.

Has excellent verbal and written communication skills


Has excellent ability to manage lead and manage his/her own staff

The Project Coordinator will lead the project implementation of two projects under the livelihood
sector of the Typhoon Yolanda Early Recovery and Rehabilitation Program. The role will put emphasis
on the quality and accountability of the project to beneficiaries and the donor(s). The project
coordinator will also ensure that the project is implemented within the frameworks applied within the
organization.

The two livelihood projects are implemented within fifteen municipalities of Leyte, East Samar and West
Samar. Both projects aim to improve the livelihood of chose communities via capacity building on
financial literacy, business skills and memberships in savings groups.
