ABSTRACT

Abbottonians Medical Association was established on 2nd March 1990 as nonprofit and
non-governmental public interest organization. AMA is registered with Social &
Welfare Department of KPK [DSW/KPK - 1458] Abbottonians Medical Association has
project of Thalassemia & Eye Center, Disaster Management Center and Institute of
Learning Emergency Medicine Affiliated with National Ambulance Service College
(IRLAND) & Pre-Emergency Hospital Care Council Ireland (PEHCC).
It commonly gets different medical projects and frequently organizes Free Medical
Camps in the for-flung areas of Abbottabad, Mansehra, Haripur & Batagram districts in
which deserving patients are provided free consultation by specialist doctors along with
free medicines and lab investigations. At AMAs Eye Center, eye surgeries are performed
by highly qualified eye specialists.
With the collaboration of Govt of Japan a clinical laboratory is established Awan Plaza
where high quality investigation are provided to deserving patients either free or at
subsidized rates. Through AMA Zakat fund many deserving people including widows and
orphans are supported on regular monthly basis and educational scholarships are awarded
to deserving students.
Abbottonians Medical Association is running projects like Disaster Management Center ,
Thalassemia & Eye Center, Institute of Learning Emergency Medicine, where many
people are working , this report shows how are HR functions managed and how the
operations of AMA are being

accomplished and how are the employees being

compensated and whether they are in pursuit of the goals and objectives of AMA .
The report also demonstrates the organizational Structure and policies, Human Resource
Process and Utilization for the development and sustainability of projects, what the
projects are and how they are being executed, managed by a team of people.
