Instructions:

Question 1:

20 Marks

Interface 260KB SRAM with 8088 CPU. You are limited to use at least one 64KB SRAM
chip. Memory map starts from 00000H and above. You are required to provide:

Completely labelled schematic diagram to interface SRAM with CPU

Memory map of each memory chip used in design

Question 2:

10 Marks

Interface six output ports with 8088 CPU starting from port number 1200H and above.
Only decoder you can use in your design is 74LS138. Provide completely labelled
schematics diagram of ports interfacing with CPU.
Question 3:

10 Marks

Write an 8086-88 assembly language program that reads data from RAM and transfers
it to the output port with port ID ABCDH. Program should transfer 100 bytes from RAM
to port. Data to be transferred from RAM is located at 9456H:ABCDH and above.
