while you are reading determine:

sources that help to determine their reability
what prejudices lie in the argument
values that color the facts or the issue
Draft:

Establish facts to support an argument - double check them - than explain how they add to, develop
or challenge the reviewed article
clarify relevant values for your audience (set the perspective)
prioritize or sequence the facts and values in importance to build the argument
persuade the audience that your conclusions are based upon the agreed-upon facts and shared values
Introduce the topic
inform the reader of your point of view. assess the quality and originality of your ideas
critical thinking entice the reader to continue with the rest of the paper
focus on three main points to develop
keep the voice active
quote sources
focus on logical arguments
don't lapse into summary in the development - wait for the conclusion
refer to the opening statement
does the conclusion restate the main ideas? facts illustrate conclusions
reflect the succession and importance of the arguments
logically conclude their development
