moderndayslavery,humantraffickingisthesecondlargestcriminalenterpriseintheworld,
afterdrugsmugglingandarmsdealing.Hundredsofthousandsofvictimsaretraffickedforthe
purposesofforcedlabour,domesticservitude.HumanTraffickingistheunlawfultradeof
humanbeingsforvariouspurposessuchassexslaveryandTraffickerstakesadvantagesof
innocentpeopleanditisasignificantcrimeagainsthumanity.Humantraffickingisaserious
globalissuethatneedstheawarenessandattentionoftheworldbecauseitissignificantcrime
againsthumanity.
Eventhoughsomepeoplebelievemorelawandpolicieswillnotprevent
humantrafficking,thegovernmentshouldprovidemorelawsandpoliciesbecauseitwill
providethetoolstocombattraffickinginpersonsanditwillhelptoestablishthe
foundationtohelpvictimsofforcedlabor.lawandpolicieswillpreventincreasingof
humantraffickingtopeoplewholiveinpoverty.,lawsandpoliciesinmanyothercountries
willdecreasetherateofworldhumantrafficking.
Thegovernmentshouldprovidemorelawandpoliciestopreventhumantrafficking
becausehumantraffickinghasincreasedexponentially.Althoughhumantraffickingis
commonlythoughttobeathingofthepast,humantraffickingstillexiststodaythroughoutthe

,$32billionayearindustry,humantraffickingistheworld'sfastestgrowingcriminal
enterprise,Anestimated27millionpeoplearevictimsofthecrime,whichinvolvesbeingforced
toperformlabororcommercialsexacts(Goldberg).Itshowstheestimatedcostandnumber
andvictimbeingrapedandstatehowhumantraffickinghavebecomeworldfastestgrowing
criminalenterprise.Inseveralcountrytherearecountlessgirlswhoarebeingkidnappedbythe
traffickerandifthegovernmentprovidemorelawsandpoliciesthehumantraffickingratewill
decrease.Ineverycountrythereshouldbeaguidelinesonthecareandprotectionof
victims.Peopleneedtoencouragedeachothertocontinueraisingawarenessabouthuman
trafficking.Governmentscanonlypreventandaddresstheissueintheirowncountriesand
aroundtheworldiftheypasseddominantlawandpolicies.Womenaremostlythevictimof
humantraffickingandthetraffickersmakeswomenlifeveryhardandthosewomenaremainly
fromlowcastesystem.
Womenaresubjectedtophysicalviolence,sexualassaultandrape,battery,
imprisonment,threatsandotherformsofforce.Womenmaygoabroadknowingthattheywill
workinthesexindustry,butwithoutawarenessoftheterribleworkconditionsandviolencethat
accompanythetraffickingbusiness.Otherwomenanswerjobadvertisementsforpositions
abroadsuchasdancers,waitresses,andnannies,onlytofindthemselvesheldagainsttheirwill
andforcedintoprostitutionandsexualslavery.AsitstatesinthearticleExploitationofIllegal
AliensVictimsareluredwithfalsepromisesofgoodjobsandbetterlives,andthenforcedto
workunderbrutalandinhumanconditions.Womenarestrugglingintheirdailylifeandthose

becauselowcastecannotfindwork,sothegirlsgetsinthehandoftraffickers.Runawayand
homelessyouth,victimsofdomesticviolence,sexualassault,warorconflict,orsocial
discriminationarefrequentlytargetedbytraffickers.Womenaroundtheworldareworkingas
prostitutesandnotbecausethosewomenwantedtoprostitutesbutphysicallyforcedtobe
one.Somecountriesarecreatingpoliciesthatworkfortheircultures,othersarefallingbehind
withnoworktabletraffickinglawsatall.Inthosesuchcountriestherearenobasicrulesand
regulationtowardhumantraffickingandleadtophysicalviolenceinwomenlife.Theactivity
hasbeencitedastheglobe'sfastestgrowingcrime.
Humantraffickingistheworld'sfastestgrowingcrimeandthetotalnumberisat20.9
million.Therateofhumantraffickinghasreachedrecordlevels.AccordingtoHuffingtonPost
website,AndwhiletheU.S.DepartmentofStateidentified44,758victimsaroundtheworldin
2013,theInternationalLaborOrganizationestimatedin2012thatthetotalnumberismuch
higher,at20.9million(Couch).Itshowstheestimatednumberofpeoplewhoarebeingthe

victimofhumantrafficking.AccordingtotheReportonunodc,themostcommonformof
humantrafficking(79%)issexualabuse.Thesecondmostcommonformofhumantraffickingis
forcedlabour(18%).Thatisalargepercentageofwhatisreallygettingthroughthismeaningthat
thereishundredsofthousandsofgirlsthatarebeingkilled.Stilltodaythereisnoharshlawto
preventhumantrafficking.Humantraffickingisspreadingworldwideandthegovernmentneeds
tocomeupwitharulesthatcanpreventhumantraffickingcompletely.Counsellingand
communityactivitiesareanimportantpreventiontool.Alackofsocialoreconomicopportunity
aremostcommoncausesofhumantrafficking.Theworldneedworkinglawandpolicyto
increasepublicawarenessofhumantraffickingandprotesttheworldtofightit

justawastnotdocrime.Peopleincommonareaevenwhenthelawaregivinguponthelawand
policiesofhumantrafficking.
Eveniftherulesarepassedinvariouscountry,therewillbepeoplewhoarewillingtonot
tofollowtherules.Countrieswithmorelawsandpoliciesdoesnotguaranteethatpeoplewillnot

theStateDepartmentsTier2traffickinglist,whichmeansthecountryhasa"verysignificant"

trafficking(Ghosh).Evenmakingdealwithsupremecourt,peoplearenotfollowingtherules
andtheratearestillincreasing.Peoplethinkthatrulesandregulationonhumantraffickingare
practicaljokes.Whatthisargumentfailtoconsideristhatmostsevereandharshrulescanstop
Humantrafficking.HumantraffickingisacrimeagainstHumanitybecauseitcanleadtodeath
andsuicideofyoungwomen's.Multipleoftimegovernmentbelievethatpeoplewillnotprevent
humantraffickingbecausegovernmentbelievethecommunitywillnotfollowit.Human
