The PBIS program has had a lot of success in elementary schools. However, it has to be tailored to fit high school students with conduct disorder. This gave me a good opportunity to look at our school and see what strategies have been working and what should be improved or replaced.

Standard 6.0 Larger Context Element 6.3 Anticipate and assess emerging trends and initiatives Activity: (MILF 8.3): Community stakeholders and school partners who readily participate in school life Time: 8 hours Artifact: PBIS Team Implementation Phase Inventory Description: I was asked to review the school PBIS plan and look for trends as well as ways to implement new strategies for behavior improvement in the classrooms.
Reflection: In ELCC 6.3 an administrator needs to be able to understand,
anticipate and assess new trends in order to adapt new leadership strategies. This activity required me to assess the new trends of PBIS, data, and how it will possibly affect the school in the future. The PBIS program has had a lot of success in elementary schools, however it has to be tailored to fit high school students and especially in a school with students who primarily have conduct disorder. This gave me a good opportunity to look at our school and see what strategies have been working and what should be improved or replaced. I spent approximately 8 hours reviewing and compiling data as well as looking at new trends.
