1. Transfer liquid nitrogen

from large tank to a dewar
(1-4 Liter).

1a. Frost bite from skin

contact with liquid
nitrogen.
1b. Asphyxiation from
breathing the nitrogen
fumes.

1a1. Wear a lab coat, safety glasses, face shield, and

cryogenic gloves.
1a2. Make sure your clothing covers all skin: no shorts,
skirts, open toe shoes, etc.
1b1. Always obtain the nitrogen from a tank in a well
open area.
