PERSONAL BACKGROUND

A 20 year career in education has been realized from a dream to make a

difference in the life of a child. Experiences including teaching 5 th graders,
teaching overseas, and serving at the district level as Instructional
Technology Teacher Specialist and Instructional Technology Coordinator
have all contributed to making this dream a reality. A Masters Degree in
Curriculum and Instruction, certification programs in School Library Media
and Administration, and now a doctoral program, heighten my ability to
maximize my personal and professional abilities to influence education, with
a current focus on how technology and digital curriculum can enhance
education for students.
