2007 to US ARMY RESERVES, 4224 Medical Det 1

present Combat Medic – LPN
Worked at WRAMC. Performed duties in ICU, MICU, SICU, Peds, O.B.. While involved in
these activities, I was studying for LPN certification. In the hospitals, I was team leader; in the
military activities, I was squad leader.

1996 to US ARMY RESERVES, 389th Engineer Battalion, Middleton, IA

2007 E-5 Squad Leader, Heavy Equipment Operator
Operated and maintained heavy equipment. Instructed others on how to operate equipment.
Planned missions and projects. Built children’s playgrounds, roads, parking lots, landing strips.
Loaded and unloaded equipment on semis. Drove semis to and from designated areas. Ran
winch and picked up broken down vehicles that fell out of convoys. When leaving country,
accounted for soldiers under my command.

Various experiences in production of Maytag refrigerators.

1995 to MERCER COUNTY HOSPITAL, Aledo, IL

1996 Medical Laboratory Assistant
Assisted with making appointments and entered insurance information into computer. Worked
in laboratory and emergency room, drawing blood and various other samples, giving drug
tests, and using microscopes to examine specimens for various conditions.

1994 to METROPOLITAN MEDICAL LABORATORY (MML), Moline, IL

1995 Phlebotomist/Laboratory Technician
Worked within Trinity hospital as employee of MML. Drew blood from patients per
physicians’ orders, distributed collected samples to appropriate laboratory area for testing.
Entered completed jobs into computer.
