Parents as Partners
As one of the most influential people in your scholars life, I encourage all parents to get
as involved as possible in their students education. Encourage scholars to read the
newspaper, news magazines, watch news programs and discuss the importance of
learning about the development of human societies connecting current events to topics
of study. There will be assignments asking students to discuss an article with a
parent/family member and bring back the essay (summary) signed. Contact me
whenever necessary as I will pledge to do the same.
