EXPLAIN AND JUSTIFY THE NEED

Hi! My name is Ximena Mai Mendez Ikezoe and I am from the school Instituto Anglo
Britanico. In my class I am talking about the technology because of the cultural week.
And now I am researching and learning about the pros and the cons of the technology
like the social media, the technology devices, etc so in this document I will talk about
it.
We decided to use the technology as a problem because there have been a lot of types
of news about such like a suicides, cyberbully, some type of murdering, etc And there
had also been good news like that the students can learn more with it, can
communicate better, you can do your homework more easily, etc So the technology
nowadays is a very big problem as you can see. Also the kids, the teenager or even the
parents use a lot the technology devices like the cell phone, the computer, a tablet and
a lot type of devices. So people are tire of it, like parents are tired that their kids are
always on the cellphone and do not enjoy the moment, or also the kids are tired that
their parents are always on the cell phone and dont talk to you or even hear you so I
want talk about the technology, that its not always good or bad.
This problem is referring to everyone because there are parents that are always in their
cell phone and dont hear what their kids are telling to them. But its the same for the
children, some teenager are always in their cell phones or in their tablets and do not put
attention in what their parents tell them and this one of the main problems of
cyberbullying and some people hurt themselves and commit suicide. And also the little
kids nowadays are always on their moms phones or on their tablets watching videos or
playing a game. Now the parents instead of playing with their children they gave them
an electronic device to entertain them instead of that they can give them a book so their
children can entertain or also they can give them a piece of paper and some crayons for
them to draw. So, the problem is for everyone, the parents, teenager, children, etc
This problem of the technology is occurring all over the world and not just Mexico,
Mexico is the
30th city that uses the internet and in the first place is Taiwan so this problem is not just
for Mexico. With the ranking I just said we can see that the people all over the world are
addicted to the internet. I searched on the internet and it said that the 13% of the
teenager population on Brazil use their cellphones to make cyberbullying. Another thing
that I found is that in Canada the cyberbullying is very high, the 23% of the teenager is
affected because of the cyberbullying. So now we can see that the technology problem
is all over the world.

This problem is because of all the people around the world such as children, teenagers,
parents, etc This is because now in this time everyone is paying attention to their
cellphones, tablets, computer and they are not paying attention on what its happening
around them and around the world. In this times people do not appreciate times with
their families and friends because they are paying more attention to their cellphones. I
checked on internet and there are in the world 176 million people around the world
addicted to the electronic devices I just talked about (cellphones, tablets, computers,
etc)
This problem its having a lot of defects such as deaths and diseases also its getting the
people antisocial and people nowadays do not enjoy the moment as they should. I
researched that there are some eye diseases because of the computers and electronic
devices because of all the light it has.

IDENTIFY AND PRIRITIZWE THE RESEARCH

Hi! I am Ximena Mai Mendez and I will show you how to use movie maker and this can
help you in the future like in high school or something.
First to start you need to be prepared, when you are creating the movie first you need to
have your videos or your pictures you want to insert to the movie. And if you want to
put an voice mail or a music you need to be prepared with some music you like or a
microphone so you can speak on your video.
1. First you need to open movie maker and then you need to click on add videos or
pictures, when you click It and it will open all your files and you choose your picture or
video whatever you decide.
2. After you click on the picture or on your video it will be insert it on a slide or more, and if
you want to put and effect on the video or pictures you click on the page that it said
visual effects and you click on the effects you want but it just appear in one video or one
picture, if you want to put it in all the video with the same effects you need to be clicking
in all the pictures and videos to have the same effect.
3. If you want to put an animation to you rmovie you need to click on the page where it
said animations and the click on the animation you want.
4. When you want to put a title on the very beginning of the video you just click at the first
slide and then you need to click on the option that it said title, and then you insert on the
title whatever you wanted as a title. And if you want to put any effect on the title such as
to change the font or to change the color you can do it, just click at the text and it will
appear you and if you want to change the color of the title slide you just click on edit and
you click on the option
background color and you choose the one you like.

If you want to write a little message on a picture or video you just go to the slide you want to
put the message and the you go to home and click in caption so you can write
whatever you want.
6. When you want to put a music on your movie you just click on add music on home and
again it will open all your files and you will choose the music you have on your files.
7. If you want to explain something on your movie with your own mouth (talking) you just
connect your microphone and then you click on record narration and record whatever
you wanted to say. If you want decide that your narration its more important than the
music you clik on project and then there will be an option named emphazise narration .

8. When you finish all your movie you click on a button that is on the top and with a blue
note, the it will appear you save movie as and you click there, you choose the file you
want the video and choose a name for it, after it you click on save.And if you want to
disc or you also can save your movie on the computer by clicking
r. on for compute

options and one of them will be hard

I just finish working on the criteria A inquiring and analyzing and this time I will be
working on identify and prioritize the research and on the last document I did I was
talking about all the negative aspects of the technology, and now in this second step I
will talk about the positive aspects of the technology.Now I am going to talk about some
advantages of the technology. The technology is a thing that we used in our daily lives
and that's why I will show you some positive aspects it have and not just negative
aspects. The first advantage I found out is that it provides easy access to all type of
information. Nowadays you just open you electronic device and search on internet
whatever you want there will be an information available right in front of you instead of
be reading and reading and finding the information (like before the computer times) you
just search whatever you want and you have your information.
Another advantage is that the technology nowadays encourages the creativity and the
innovation. But why innovation and creativity? Because you can start a business more
easily online such as a page named Etsy.com where people sell their works online and
with that they provide or create more creativity and with this more ideas will come up to
and you will be producing more and more.The technology has improved a lot the
communication, now you can be in your house and be talking with a friend of yours on
the cellphone or from a social media such as Facebook, Tweeter, Snapchat, etc or
now you can also give a fax. Thanks to the technology the communication has improved
a lot and now people can have more friends.The convenience in education also has
grown up a lot because of the technology. Modern technology makes us our studies
more simpler because of the online education or mobile education. One example of it is
that some schools make their students to use iPads to share visual lessons and
example with peers in the classroom these make the convenience in education.
Also that students nowadays learn just from an iPads and without a tutor.And last but
not least improve the entertainment. If you havent notice most of the people nowadays
is always entertained with their computers or cellphones being on their social medias or
also talking with a familiar or friend. Also people are always watching TV or playing
Videogames and being entertained. Also you can hear music just by a click and also
watch videos of all type on an application named youtube.

PRESENT AND JUSTIFY THE FINAL CHOSEN DESIGN

My partner is Monica Rivas, her proposal is a girl that is being forced to make the
homework of other students, one day she doesnt bring them the homework and she
starts being cyberbullied. But my proposal is, a girl named Summer went to the house of
his friend August while he was investigating about the advantages and disadvantages of
the technology from his computer, August start to tell her some advantages and
disadvantages of the technology.
Finally, we decided to join both ideas and to make a video about a very intelligent girl
named Summer who is cyberbullied in her school, she is cyberbullied because she
need to do the homework of the other students and one day she forgot to bring the
homework of one student she got cyberbullied. Summer was cyberbullied from all her
social medias, from facebook, twitter and instagram. One day she thought to go to her
best friend house August to get some help, while she is going with August, he is
investigating about the benefits and disadvantages of the technology, August tell
Summer all of it and they will try to explain it to the other students that cyberbullied her.

Hi! My name is Ximena and I am going to talk about some changes I made to my script
and Monicas script of the summative 2.In this project we had a lot of changes because
my partner Monica and I had totally different ideas and we needed to change and mix
her ideas and mines.The idea of Monica was a girl that was being cyberbullied from
students of her school. And my idea was about a girl that goes to the house of one of
her friends August and he tells her all the advantages and disadvantages of the
technology.
Some changes we made in this project was that a girl named Summer is bullied in her
school because she didnt do the homeworks of other girl that forced her to do it, and
now when she gets to hert house, Summer turn on her computer and she has a lot of
bad messages from the other girls. Then Summer goes to the house of her friend
August and he was investigating about the advantages and disadvantages of the
technology, Summer needs help and got some help from August. August tells to the
school director and finally the students that cyberbullied said her sorry.

Today, I finally finished my project of protecting my memories. This project took me four
moths (two bimesters) to complete it. The technology nowadays have a lot of
disadvantages but also advantages affecting on our daily life. The technology have
affected and anlso change our lifes from a children of 1 year to a adult of 90 years it has
been affecting a lot our daily life.
With this project I learned that the technology not
only has its benefits, but also it disadvantages.
DESIGN THE TESTING METHOD

Now I choose some partner of mine and show them the video to see their opinions and
also what could we improve from it:
Carolina Pauln: I like your video because its not with real people and its creative.What I
liked the most from your video was the story, it was very interesting. With that video we
can see the advantages and disadvantages the technology has nowadays in the school.
Diana Flores: I did like your video because the story its really happening in the world
and you can be a victim of it so you need to take care of your self on what are you doing
to other people and also to your self.
Katia Carrizales: For me the video was interesting because the cyberbulling its
happening right now all around the world and there has been a lot of suicides because
of it, or it can cause a mental disorder and some other diseases that can cause you
death. So with your video is good now people can know that the cyberbullying its not an
potion.

EVALUATE THE SUCCES OF THE SOLUTION

I think that Monica and I made ood job making this video because of all the drawings
we did, the drawings take us a lot of time and we did good. Also for me the trama of
the story was interesting because we were talking about the cyberbulliyng and that can
affect any people emotionally and cause a suicide so that is a very important theme. But
what could we improve is how we edit the video.
EXPLAIN HOW THE SOLUTION COULD BE IMPROVED

I think this solution could be improved by editing better the video so it attract more and
more people to come and see It and also to encourage more people to see it and to see
all the cosequences it has the technology nowadays if you use it in a wrong way. But
beside that I think our video is good and it has a good trama so people can know all the
consequences the technology have if you don't use it correctly in the way it need to be .
