Comments:
Lauren has been a welcome addition to the History classes and Social Science department at
La Salle Secondary. Her comfort with
technology as been helpful and appreciated. As Lauren became more comfortable in the classroom, her teaching
style reflected her
confidence and willingness to take on a new topic. Lauren adapted well to changing situations in the
classroom. She had a good
sense of what the class needed at the time and suited the lesson towards it. She responded positively to challenges I gave
her and
created worksheets and lessons plans that worked effectively in the classroom.
Lauren should continue to work on using differentiated learning in the classroom and have students reflect on
their own learning
strength and weaknesses.
Overall, Lauren had a successful teaching round that both used her strengths and challenged her to work outside her comfort zone. lt
was a pleasure to work with her in the classroom.
