GREETINGS FROM THE EAST

Greeting Brothers,
If you missed the installation of officers, you missed a great time and a good meal. I want to
thank all the Past Masters that came out and helped make this a very special night. We had
some old friends come and that really made the night one to remember. Thank you Brother
Leonard Harper PDDGM for a great job as installing Master. You did fantastic work as always. Thank you Brother Donnie Trent PM for your help and support. You did a great job as
the installing Marshal. Thank you Brother Jim Green DDGM for your help as installing
Chaplin. You did a great job.
We start our year off with two of our most important events. First is our Masonic Widows Dinner. This is where we have a chance to let our widows know how much we care for them and
how much we respected their parted loved ones. Please speak to one of the officers about what
you can do to help convey this message to our widows.
Second is our first major fund raiser. Please join us for our famous annual Pulled Pork Dinner. There are two ways to enjoy this mouth watering dinner. You can either join us in our
beautiful dining room or pick up your dinner to enjoy at your home. Either way it is a dinner
that will excite your taste buds and satisfy you completely. In fact do what I do if you really
have a hunger for delicious pulled pork, eat one in the dining room while enjoying conversation with friends. Then buy one to take home to enjoy the next day.
Hope to see all of you in our Lodge at the next meeting, January 11th. The dinner is at 6:30
pm and the meeting at 7:30pm.
God bless you all.

Fraternally, WMichael Mike W. Sturgeon PM Worshipful Master

GREEINGS FROM THE SOUTH

Greetings from the South
Brothers as we embark on a new and exciting 2016, the newly installed officers are looking
forward to serving you. This is your lodge and we are soliciting your participation at our
meetings and activities.
We will be working hard to raise funds for the operation of the lodge and continuing to fulfill
our charitable obligations to the community as well as welcoming you at Lodge. Please be a
part of these efforts. As we all know there is more to Masonry than displaying the logo or
wearing the jewelry of our craft.
Please make sure we have your current address, phone #, and e-mail on file.
We recently attempted to contact a number of Brothers and found 1/3rd of the phone numbers
or addresses were no longer valid. Let us correct our records.
If you haven't attended Lodge or know of Brothers who have not, we will be hosting a RUSTY
NAIL DEGREE on Monday February 29, 2016. The purpose of the degree is to refresh your
memory on lodge proticalls. All that is required is a current dues card. Mark your calendar
and join us for a fun event.

Fraternally, WHugh B. Alger PM Junior Warden

Brother to the
Celestial Lodge

Pray for our Departed Brothers

I would like to invite all Master Masons to join us for our upcoming Rusty Nail Degree. The Rusty Nail Degree is intended to help refresh our memories on all Three Degrees of Masonry, Lodge Customs, and reviews
the mysteries and legends of Freemasonry. If you haven't been in Lodge for a while, this is a perfect opportunity to refresh you memory on procedures and work. The degree will be this month on Monday the 29th
from 6:30 until 10:00 pm I look forward to seeing many of you there.
Fraternally, Mike Sturgeon Worshipful Master
