Design and execute G-MWs strategic Corporate Planning Framework and reporting timeframes
2. Track deliverables to G-MW corporate plans, undertake data analysis, identify valuable insights
and develop CPPP performance reports to be presented to the Executive Board
3. Establishing key corporate metrics, report layout requirements and outlines for maintaining data
integrity and a robust process for extracting and analysing data
4. Managing the preparation of corporate scorecards from data and statistical findings
5. Preparing CPPP dashboard reports to reflect how CPPP function is tracking against the CPPP
strategic plan
6. Analysing and tracking CPPP metrics against the departments performance
7. They track industry and competitive trends, develop forecasting models and scenario analysis,
examine strategic performance, spot emerging market opportunities, identify business threats,
look for novel strategic solutions, and develop creative action plans.
8. Strategic planning involves understanding what the organizations current strategy is, what has
been tried in the past and also what it will be in the future (Strategic intent).
9. Strategic planners analyze and evaluate internal business plans. This involves financial
forecasting, market analysis, competitive intelligence analysis, looking at M&A proposals and
feasibility analysis. There is also substantial focus on vendor relations, logistics and supply chain
issues and geographic expansion
