Historical event outline

Tyler Harper-Fennell
My role in the survival plan the Medical field (find cures)
My new learning skill is to find a way to make a cure made from plants to cure all
the walking dead.
I am researching the Black Death Plague
It started 1346-1353
The plague was caused by fleas that were carried by rats that were very common
in towns and cities.
a disease caused by the bacteria Yersinia pestis (fleas) that circulates among
wild rodents where they live in numbers together and around people ( The History
Learning site,n.d.)
when the fleas host dies it goe to a new host
it takes 14 day for the host to become diseased
doctors couldnt find a cure for a few years
when the eventually found a cure they created a cure out of natural resources
tree resin, the roots of white lilies, dried human excrement
they applied it to the cut open spots where the skin forms bubble looking things
on the skin (the Greatest Catastrophe Ever, n.d.)
Research
The Black Plague is the most dramatic and serious plague that has ever happened in world
history. People were sleeping on the streets and in houses with these nasty disease infested
creatures. Which indeed were getting people sick and killing them slowly because of the
unsanitary living environments. It led to the pollution of rivers. It also spread because of the daily
contact with other people and that house were a foot apart. They were told so many different
ways to get rid of the plague but they werent successful. Then they eventually found a cure for
the disease. The cures for this were that the infected person should be washed with vinegar
and rose petal water, cut the buboes open and mix tree resin with roots of white lilies and
human excrement, put the mixture on the open skin. (the Greatest Catastrophe Ever, n.d.)
This Historical event is related to my project because I am looking to find a way to make a cure
to the zombie disease from spreading and to give to the infected that havent turned yet, and
they were trying to find a cure to be rid of the Black Plague, they had to use herbs and natural
resources to find a cure and I will be using any natural resources available at the time to make
the cure
