sharewithyouavailabilitydatesinaseparatedocument.Duringtheproduct
rollouttimeperiod,updatesregardingcontentreleasewillbepublishedon

.Wewanttoensureyouhavethemost
currentandaccurateinformation,sopleasecheckthissiteoftenduringyourpilot.

MutualExpectations
Thepilotschool/districtwill:

Completesurvey(s)orparticipateindiscussionswithPearson,teachersand
students,ifasked.
Ifmutuallyagreedupon
,allowPearsontotakephotosand/orrecordvideo
while
my
Perspectivesisinuseintheclassroom.
DistributetostudentstheModelReleaseForm(attheendofthis
welcomeletter).Thisformallowspermissionforpotentialuseof
photos/videosinPearsonsmarketingmaterials.
NOTE:
Ifyourschool
isnotgoingtobevideotaped,thisformisnotnecessary.
Completeoneunit(6weeks)ofinstructionasintended/designed,using
availablelessonresourcesandtechnology.Ifthepilottermisshorterthan6
weeks,thenteachersshouldimplementasmanylessonsaspossiblewithin
thegiventimeperiod.
ProvideopportunitiesforPearsontocommunicatewiththeonsitecontact
andpilotteachers,asagreedupon,duringthecourseofthepilot.
AgreetoparticipateinapostpilotdiscussionwiththeAccountGeneral
Manager,LiteracySpecialist,and/orProductManagementandMarketing.

Pearsonwill:

Provideallmaterialsforteachersandstudents,includingaccesstothedigital
courseonPearsonRealizeforthedurationofthepilot.

Communicatewithongoingupdatesrelatedtoproductreleases.
Offerongoingcustomer/technicalsupportbytheAccountGeneralManager,
LiteracySpecialist,and/orProductManager.
Collectanecdotaldatafromteachersandstudents.
Ifneededandmutuallyagreedupon,providephotographers/videographers.

PilotDuration
Typically,pilotsaresetupfor6or12months,butcanbeshorterorlonger
dependingonthetheagreeduponneed.Pleasenotethatifyourpilotextends
beyondtheinitialdates,andyouareusingthedigitalcourseware,yourdigital
accountsneedtobeextended.Pleasebesuretoconfirmthatthisextensionis
donewithyourAccountGeneralManagerpriortheexpirationtoavoidinterruption
ofdigitalaccess.

E. toprovideVideotapes/Photographstoclientsandsubcontractorsfortraining,marketing,or
advertisingmaterials.

IwaiveanyrightthatImayhavetoanyongoingcompensationorroyaltiesforuseoftheVideotapes/
Photographsorstatement,andtoinspectand/orapproveanyfinishedVideotapes/Photographsor
statementsmadebymychildorchildentrustedtomycare.

IherebyreleaseanddischargePearsonfromanyliabilityarisingbyvirtueofanyblurring,distortion,
alternation,opticalillusionoruseincompositeform,whetherintentionalorunintentional,thatmayoccuror
beproducedinthetakingofsaidpicturesorintheprocessingorpublicationthereof.Ifurtherreleaseand
dischargePearsonfromanyliabilityarisingoutoftheuseorpublicationofmychildsorchildentrustedto
mycarespicture,name,orsignedstatementinthemannerspecifiedabove.
