GUIDELINES FOR PhD/MPhil Registration

Date of Registration for Ph. D/M.Phil:

1st February 2016

At the Time of Registration, the Candidate shall come up with the following:
1. Original Certificates, and two sets of Xerox copies of all Educational qualifications from
10th standard onwards, Experience certificate & NOC, Category certificate (in case of
SC/ST/OBC).
2. Also the candidate shall pay the First semester Tuition fee of Rs. 30000/- in favour of
KL University, payable at Vijayawada (The Tution fee is Rs. 30000/- per semester,
minimum duration is 3 years for full-time and 4 years for part-time) at the time of
registration on 1st February 2016.
3. Showing Original Certificates on the date of registration is mandatory. All the Originals
will be verified by RPAC of the Departments concerned. For Full-Time Scholars, All the
Original Certificates need to be deposited with the University, and for the part Time
Scholars, after verification of original certificates, certificates will be returned.
4. Selection of supervisor at KL University is made on the date of registration, or within
next two days.
5. A Doctoral Committee, consisting of supervisor, Chairman, and two expert members will
be allotted for each candidate, upon the successful completion of the registration by 3rd
March 2016.
6. Expert lectures will be held on the Research Methodology Course during 1st to 4th
February 2016. Hence all the candidates shall attend the registration and course
work on RM from 1st to 4th February 2016 without fail.
7. The Rules and Regulations for Ph. D for the Academic Year 2015-16 admitted batch, are

8. If the Candidate fails to register on 1st February 2016, the admission may be cancelled
and the same will be allotted to the candidates in the waiting list.
9. All candidates have to register by paying tuition fee of Rs 30000/- for odd semester by
July, 5th and even semester by Jan, 5th without fail.
