This lesson plan outlines instruction for one student over two days on graphing skills. The objectives are to construct simple graphs from data and identify general trends. The student will be introduced to picture graphs through examples and analysis questions. They will then collect color preference data from classmates using frog manipulatives and create their own picture graph to analyze trends in the data. Materials include worksheets, frogs, and an iPad for interactive examples.
