Attached are flyers in English and Spanish for workshops that the Columbia Heights/Shaw Family Support Collaborative (CH/SFSC) and the DC Rape Center will conduct for April’s Child Abuse Prevention Month. Please invite your clients/families to attend these workshops they should be extremely useful and informative.
The workshops will address different topics for the entire family ages 5 and up. The goal is to inform and equip families to address issues like “Healthy Relationships” for teens, and “Good Touch/Bad Touch” for young children. There will also be a workshop for adults to recognize the early signs shown by a sexually abused child.
This event takes place at 5:30 pm Tuesday, April 20, 2010 at our CH/SFSC office - 1420 Columbia Road, 4th floor.
