Coordinated efforts of several government and charitable organizations to serve flood victims
following the December, 2015 flood.
Draft, consider and pass ordinances and resolutions that impact Jefferson County.
Served as the first Chair of the County Council during the first year Jefferson County operated as
a First Class, Charter form of government.
Reviewed and selected vendors for all Jefferson County road and bridge projects (2012).
Serve as representative for nearly 22,000 Jefferson County, Missouri residents.

Develop and implement the intellectual property (IP) registration, watch and enforcement
programs for the largest car rental company in the world.
Design, conduct, supervise and review clearance research for proposed new trademarks.
Draft business agreements and settlement terms for matters impacting the IP portfolio.
Oversee the worldwide intellectual property portfolio for the Enterprise family of companies,
including patents (over 60 patent filings), trademarks (approximately 5,000 trademark
filings/registrations) and domain names (over 7,000 names).
Lead negotiations, patent examiner interviews, trademark mediations, discovery and internal
strategy sessions for various intellectual property projects.
Lead the intellectual property due diligence, transition and acquisition efforts for major
acquisition of world-wide National and Alamo brands and various smaller acquisitions.
Hire and manage outside counsel for work on contested intellectual property matters involving
large and small companies, the largest case involving 135 contested matters in 43 jurisdictions.
Educate various internal business departments and advise senior management on intellectual
property, privacy and electronic commerce issues.

Managed, from conception to issuance, the companys first 12 business method patents including
management of patent search, strategic planning and prosecution (January, 2000 - July, 2013)
Assisted business managers and in house attorneys by providing legal advice on electronic
commerce and privacy matters in Canada, Ireland, Germany, England, the European Union and
other jurisdictions.
Advised Privacy and Diversity/Work Life Balance Committees (2008-2010).
