JOURNALISM AND MARKETING INTERNSHIP

INTERNSHIP DESCRIPTION
With a specific focus on creating web content, this internship is an ideal opportunity for a journalism, strategic communications, or marketing student to gain experience in the realm of editorial and content marketing. If youre a writer
and a storyteller that enjoys working with and learning about a variety of businesses in the state of CO, then this might
be the internship for you! We work with a diverse group of clients from non-profits to startups to prominent Denver
companies, allowing you the ability to dabble in creating content all across the board.
Primarily, we are looking for a gifted writer to develop creative content, including articles, blog posts, press releases,
website content, and other materials, for Third Principle and some of our clients. This is real-world experience that
gives you the opportunity to build up a portfolio of work and learn about aspects of the marketing and communications industry.

QUALIFICATIONS

Excellent writing and editing skills

Excellent verbal skills
Ability to research and fact-check
Knowledge of AP style and understanding of SEO
is preferred, but not necessary

Ability to manage and develope web content

Ability to manage time and deadlines, complete
tasks efficiently, and multi-task
Ability to work without supervision and maintain a
flexible work schedule
Experience with nonprofits is a PLUS

HOW TO APPLY
This internship is for course credit, and would be a commitment of around 10-16 hours/week. Flexible hours in order
to work with your class schedule. Opportunity to work remotely when necessary.
