North Korea
NUCLEAR WEAPONS IN NORTH KOREA
The Security Council and General Assembly,
Recalling that in the past unsuccessful sanctions have been placed on North
Korea by the UN in attempt to demolish their nuclear weapon program,
Recognizing the past attempts to terminate North Koreas nuclear program have
been unsuccessful and failed to prevent North Korea from constructing and testing their
Nuclear weapons,
Emphasizing that North Koreas possession of nuclear, chemical, and biological
weapons pose a threat to international peace and security and must be addressed,
Aware of past attempts to demolish the Nuclear Program made by the General
Assembly have given North Korea more motivation and purpose for their Nuclear
program, proving failure of the UN,
Taking into consideration that North Korea has irresponsibly used their nuclear
technology as described in the article Its Not a Hermit Kingdom, and 4 Other Myths
ABout North Korea states Remember that the North did send a nuclear reactor for
producing bomb making material to Syria- luckily Israeli warplanes destroyed the
unfinished facility in 2006,
Having examined past attempts by the UN to eliminate North Koreas nuclear
program and acknowledging their past failures and likely upcoming fails due to the
unreasonable request for the DPRK, presents a new resolution in pursuit to aid the UN
after many unsuccessful attempts to stop North Koreas nuclear program,
Seeking a resolution to stop North Koreas nuclear program, all nations
interested in retaining international peace and security as well as the prevention of
North Koreas nuclear program take the following into consideration,
1.tEncourages the General Assembly to address North Korea about their Nuclear
weapons and ask for them to be open minded about North Koreas reaction towards a
new resolution;
2. Encourages North Korea to give up their nuclear weapons and focus on their own
economy and people;

(a) Transmits that if North Korea disregards their nuclear weapons, in return the

General Assembly will remove sanctions that are excluding their economy:
3. Further recommends the DPRK abandons all nuclear weapons and ceases all related
activities;
4. Recommends the DPRK to abandon their nuclear program and focus on their nation
and economy;
(a) With the agreement from North Korea, the General Assembly and Security

Council will supply and support the DPRK as they reestablish themselves and as
a country:
(b) With support from other countries, to peacefully give up their nuclear program

and instead focus on their own country:

5. Notes that if all nuclear weapons and related activities are demolished, the General
Assembly and Security Council will aid the DPRK with support and resources increasing
stability;
6. Welcomes North Korea to be trading with other countries internationally to improve its
economy;
7. Emphasizes that if any country, including the DPRK, breaks this agreement the UN
will not approve and all resources supplying that country will cease;
8. Proclaims that sanction will be placed on North Korea forbidding any threat to
International Peace and Security;
9. Confirms that if any activity, trade, or production of nuclear technology arises in North
Korea, all aid will immediately cease;
10. Reminds North Korea abolishing their nuclear program will immensely help their
economy and nation;
11. Request that the treaty and sighing is completed within 60 days of this resolution
