Whats Next?
Now you know what they want you to write
about.
So now we need to know how to write it!!!

Whats in a Response?
All paragraph responses should have:
A thesis statement:
This is what you are arguing or your opinion!

Reasons/arguments to support your thesis and evidence

to support your reasons. (Be sure to state where your
evidence came from! i.e. according to)
A summarizing sentence at the end.
Each paragraph should have a minimum of 4 sentences.

Before you write

Before you write, it is often good to briefly outline
what your thesis is and what reasons and support
you will use in your paragraph.
This helps your paragraph read logically and
makes sure you get all your points across clearly.
This can be something as simple as jotting some
notes in the margin, it doesnt have to be
complicated.
