Plaintiff has now opposed undersigned counsels request for leave to
submit a brief to assist the Court in formulating a default judgment in this
matter. (Dkt 50, 51). Plaintiff suggests that this Court does not have the
authority to entertain amicus briefs. That is untrue, as this Court is well
aware. See In re Bayshore Ford Truck Sales, Inc., 471 F.3d 1233, 1249 n.34
