‫تلقت الشبكة العربية لمعلومات حقوق اإلنسان اليوم بانزعاج بالغ خبر قيام أجھزة األمن الكويتية بإلقاء القبض على مواطنين مصريين مؤيدين لمطالب‬
‫ ورغم اعتراف مسئولي الحكومة الكويتية بإلقاء القبض على بعض المصريين‬، ‫الدكتور محمد البرادعي الخاصة بسبل تحول مصر إلى النھج الديمقراطي‬
‫ حيث تواترت األخبار عن القبض على‬، ‫ لتفتح الباب واسعا حول التخمينات واالستنتاجات‬، ‫ إال أنھا لم توضح عددھم أو أسباب القبض عليھم‬، ‫ھناك‬
.”‫ وترحيل بعضھم للقاھرة بسبب “نوايا” عن إعالن عدد منھم إعالن تأييدھم ” للجمعية الوطنية للتغيير‬، ‫مصريا‬33

‫ وقامت األجھزة األمنية بتفتيش‬، ‫ بعضھم من مقر عمله‬، ‫ابريل‬8 ‫وكانت الكويت قد ألقت القبض على ثالثة مواطنين مصريين يوم أمس األول الخميس‬
‫مصري أخر أثناء لقائھم العلني في أحد‬30 ‫ ثم أعقبتھا بالقبض على‬، ‫منزل أحدھم على األقل ومصادرة بعض “التيشرتات” التي تحمل صورة البرادعي‬

‫ وأن تعلن عن أي مواد قانونية تبيح اعتقال أي‬، ‫وقالت الشبكة العربية ” يجب على الكويت أن تعلن بوضوح أسباب اعتقال ھؤالء المصريين ومصيرھم‬
.”‫ السيما ولم ينسب ألي من المعتقلين أي سلوك مخالف للقانون‬-‫شخص بناء على –نوايا‬

‫ وال أقل من أن تصدر وزارة‬، ‫وأضافت الشبكة العربية ” ال ينبغي على الحكومة الكويتية أن تھدر القانون وأن تضع سمعتھا على المحك بھذا اإلجراء‬

The Arabic Network for Human rights information received the utterly disturbing news of arresting Egyptians in
Kuwait for supporting AlBaradie and advocating for democracy in Egypt. Although Kuwaiti officials have admitted
arresting some Egyptians , they did not declare how many were arrested or the arrest reasons if any. This left
the public to presumptions and doubts where news spread about arresting 33 Egyptians and deporting some of
them because of their intentions to declare support of “The National Assembly for change”.

On 8/4/2010,Kuwaiti authorities have arrested 3 Egyptians while at work , searched the house of one of them
and seized T-shirts having AlBaradie’s picture. Following, 30 others were arrested while meeting at a restaurant.

The Arabic Network said, ” Kuwait must announce the reasons for arresting those Egyptians and the
consequences of such a measure. Kuwait must declare the legal reasons for arresting anyone just for their
intentions especially that none of the arrested has practiced an illegal act”.

ANHRI added , ” The Kuwaiti government must not defy and waste the law and jeopardize its image by such a
measure. The least expected of Kuwait is that the Kuwaiti interior ministry should issue a clear statement on
this act against Egyptian citizens who did nothing illegal “
