How to convert from decimal to

binary

For example, we are going to use the
following template to convert a decimal
number to binary

How can we fit number 9 into the template
above?
Well, 8+1=9, so we can place a 1 value under the
number, since number 4 and 2 are not used we
will place a 0 value under it.

above?
Well, 8+4+2=14, so we can place a 1 value under
