 Mission Offerings – A mission envelope was sent home today and may be brought back
anytime this week.

 Spelling Words – Spelling words for unit 28 were sent home today.

 Tests – Our math test will be on Thursday. The practice test will be given out on
Tuesday.

 Banjo Presentation – This Thursday, April 15th, from 10:30-11:30, there will be a banjo
presentation in the church. All students will attend this presentation and parents are
invited to attend as well.

 Practice Track Meet – Information regarding this event was sent home before Easter
break. In order for it to be successful, many volunteers are needed! Your help would
be greatly appreciated! Please return the Volunteer Form by Wednesday, April 14th, if
you are able to help.

 Substitute Teacher – I will not be here this Friday or next week Monday morning (will be
in at noon). Mrs. Naumann will be filling in as the substitute teacher. If your child is
sick, or if you have any other needs to contact me, please be sure to call the school
office or stop in the classroom those mornings since I won’t be here to check e-mails or
pass them on to Mrs. Naumann. Thanks!

 Collaboration Day - Next Friday, April 23rd, classes will dismiss at noon due to a
collaboration day for the teachers.

 Field Trip – We will be going to the Fujitsu Planetarium at De Anza College on Monday,
April 26th. A field trip permission form was sent home today. Please be sure to return
the form along with the fee by this Friday, April 16th. Also, please do not order hot lunch
for your child that day since we will be taking sack lunches along and eating there.
