2015 Highlights
One of 150 Community Treatment Programs in the Clinical Trials Network of the
National Institute of Drug Abuse.
DAYMARK performed over 160 trainings in evidenced and literature based care for over
2,000 mental health and substance abuse professionals.
Successful implementation of electronic assessments based on DSM 5 and ICD 10
standards.
Integrated behavioral and primary healthcare through our ICARE Information
Technology Solution. We are the only healthcare provider in North Carolina and one of
only a handful nationwide that can integrate treatment data from other external
providers into the work flow of our clinicians and physicians to provide whole person
care, to include almost real time alerts of emergency room and inpatient admissions.
Implementation of medical workflows to meet Federal Meaningful Use Requirements
Stage 2. Our ongoing initiatives with meaningful use have made us the largest behavioral
health recipient of Meaningful Use funding in North Carolina and one of the largest in
the nation. More importantly, it has resulted in our establishing standard data models
for medical information that allow structured communications of patient records across
provider specialties, one of the more significant objectives of Meaningful Use.
Work with the CCNC to incorporate co-occurring medical conditions reported across
specialties into our Electronic Health Record. This allows our medical team to be aware
of other potential illnesses like hypertension, diabetes, vascular disease, or cancer, just to
name a few.
Maintained CARF Accreditation with the maximum three-year renewal with special
recognition for our Information Technology Solutions.
Began work on full participation in North Carolina Health Information Exchange, the
only North Carolina Behavioral Health Agency to initiate this effort.
Expanded Services immediately in Davie, Forsyth and Stokes Counties when a provider
in those areas closed their offices.
Only one of 13 participants nationally to participate in the SAMHSA-HRSA Center for
Integrated Health Solutions Learning Collaborative.
National HIT Award for the highest Health Information Technology Integration in the
nation as compared to over 1,000 peer agencies.
