Newly created Position for training purposes to become future Plant Manager for the third largest chemical distribution
company in the United States.
Managed Nexeo Solutions Tanker & Rail trans-load and drumming operations, material production, and warehouse distribution
for the Houston plant. Primary focus was in the warehouse distribution operations as poor management was leading to loss of
business.
Managed management of change projects for new blending tanks overseeing various contractors and subcontractors, for
confined space entry and hazardous material hot work.
Revamped Houstons warehouse utilizing effective analysis through SAP BW reporting (Indoor 81,000sqft, outdoor storage
40,000sqft) warehouse comprised of corrosives, oxidizers, combustibles, flammables, resins, non-regulated, food, grade, and
waste. Based on product life cycle increasing inventory accuracy (still in progress), to date from 44% to 84% with goal of 98%
and expected attainability by 03/2014 with scheduled wall to wall.
Decreased pick times by increasing pick faces and moving from a zone system to an aisle system increasing order fulfillment
accuracy and reducing overtime from 5-6 hours per person per shift to 2-3 hours to date without increasing or decreasing
personnel.

Increased warehouse usable space by 700 pallets by properly utilizing warehouse space and adding additional racking.

Terminal Manager/Regional Manager - Gulf Region

Managed Ticos gulf regions operations, maintenance, sales, and service departments. Delivering 24/7, year round service to
the regions ports, rail terminals, warehousing/distribution centers, and intermodal facilities. Spanning the gulf coast from
Corpus Christi, TX to Lake Charles, LA. With over 300 pieces of DOT and Off-Road Heavy equipment, Over $2.1M in assets
of inter-modal heavy equipment.

Through continuous business development, I increased non-tariff sales/leasing, and initiated the use of companys
maintenance core competencies in diversified maintenance applications. Increasing total regions revenue streams (excluding
manufacturer sales) year to date an average of 21%.

Revamped local and corporate: KPIs, P&Ls to breakout costs in defined manner to vividly show allocations. Improved Local
Safety Parameters with only one reportable injury in the past 2 years bringing the OSHA Incidence Rate from 12.5 to 2.5.
Created hurricane emergency response, Spill prevention control and countermeasure plans and other necessary
tracking/reporting in regards to safety/environmental that did not exist.

Handled all regional interactions with regulatory and business entities such as International Longshoremen Association Union
(ILA), EPA, OSHA, Port of Houston Authority (PHA), Port of Corpus Christi Authority (PCCA) Port of Beaumont, and Port of
Port Arthur.

Consolidated human resources through efficient scheduling, cross training team members adapting corporate job descriptions
to fit local needs. Operating my entire region with 1/3 of the staff compared to other similarly operating intra-company
terminals.

Established the framework for a more efficient MRP program to reduce parts inventory on average 12% quarterly in addition to
improving overall lead times substantially by diversifying vendors to more local areas.

Full P&L responsibility, personally responsible for procurement of all capitalized and expensed items.

Laid the framework to integrate operational, maintenance data into a better reporting system cutting re-work and delay

Worked with Mercy Healthcare Partners to improve standard operating procedures, to improve overall efficiency of the
radiology hub, and decreased total turnaround time from an average 26 hours to 19 hours just below typical industry average.

While improving case completion daily from an average of 1263 completed cases to an average of over 1500 without
additional human resources or assets.
Strategically revamped PACS processes for emergent cases to eliminate paper trail and improve average emergent total
turnaround time from over 1.5 hours to less than 45 minutes.
Reduced overflow 3rd party costs on average 72% monthly, over $6K daily.
Established the companys national operational metrics, KPIs and reports.
