ACTIVITIES:
Discussion 1, 2, 3, 4.
Task 1, 2, 3.

DISCUSSION:
1. MAKE A LIST OF MAIN PROBLEMS
Bad communication
A wrong management between the companys
Relationships is getting worse
Information between companys is deficient and unclearly

2. . What are posible reasons for these problems?

We think the companys dont made a correct plan about how
work between the 2 companys, for that reason the problems are
enormous; when you join to an another company, you have to
built a culture between the companys, the employees, the way
to work and think (this is not imposible if we start to think like an
entire company)
3. How could management improve the situation?
In several aspects:

Trough the managment process a company have a correct control of any

situation, for example if a new tendence is in the market, if you have a
perfect managment you dont will be affected by this, because previously
you made a plan with your team, but if you dont have a correct
managment you can go down with your company, all is about the head
of the company. The 2 head of companys should talk about the problem,
this is management.

4. Imagine someone frome a different cultural background comes to work to your

company for a year. How would you explain your work culture?
First, i would give a correct welcome to my company to make her/him
comfortable in my company. After i will show to him/her, the way how we work,
from machines to activities, this help a lot, after i will present to him/her boss and
subordinated, also i will comment that the first rule in my company is the respect
and tolerance, and if him/her give that to the company, the employees, staff and
managers will give to him/her too. You dont have to explain a lot, just give the
example.

TASK
STUDENT B
We dont get an opportunity to greet our colleagues properly and make small talk. My Swedish
colleagues would rather work than join us for lunch. My Swedish colleagues are rude sometimes. My
Swedish colleagues address me by my first name in front of my Indian team.

STUDENT A
My local Indian team members are always late for meetings. My Indian colleagues take really long
lunches. My colleague never finishes a job when she says she will. The managers that report to me never
consult me.
SOLUTION: Try to make a work culture between the 2 companys, base don respect and values; learn
from the mistakes and fails between the companys for a better work.
