Why was it so cold? BRRRR. I looked
outside my window, and I saw shiny, shimmering
icicles hanging from the eves of my house. I really
loved winter, but I hated the COLD.
I walked down my steps, tripping over my
daughters sled at the bottom, and I felt like I was
sliding across ice instead of across my hardwood
floor. I tripped my way to the thermostat and
realized what had happened. My furnace must
have malfunctioned in the middle of the night
because it was only 40 degrees in my living room!
