ABOUT ME
I am a third year Computer Engineering student with a Biology degree under my belt. Despite a long-standing passion for
animals, I took a turn into the computer engineering field, intrigued by the practicality, endless applications and creative
potential available. My vast range of experiences and interests help me in bringing fresh and new perspectives to the table.

Assisted several licensed veterinarians in the sterilization of felines and canines in Costa Rican field clinics
Main role in the intake, recovery, and discharge stations performing tasks which included: conducting physical
exams, catheter placement, anaesthesia induction, and vaccinations
Observed and assisted veterinarians in surgery including ovary hysterectomy observation, pre-scrotal neuter
technique observation, instrument identification and handling, and monitoring vital signs
Performed administrative work including secretary responsibilities and handling the controlled substance log
Assisted the veterinarian in handling the cats and dogs when taking blood samples and performing surgeries

Created an intelligent music player for Windows which included basic music playback features as well as the
ability to look at the users current active window and queue music based on the users preferences
Written in C++/CLI using Visual Studio 2015 with Git integration
Developed in a group of four using agile programming methodology and software development processes
Generated requirements analysis and system design documentation which outlined the requirements and
