celebration

various activities.

Among
the
highlights of the
anniversary were

where
eminent
alumni, including
the
2015
LET
topnotchers, were
recognized,
Gawad
Sulo
where
the
University
awarded the 2015
Outstanding
Employee to Ma.
Rouella
N.
Lagunzad and the
2015 Outstanding
Faculty
to
Dr.
Danilo K. Villena, and the Presidents Awards where the Php100,000 grant was given
to those who earned their doctorate degree in the past year. Research awardees and the
national winners in the PASUC cultural competition were also recognized.
On December 26, 1991, the Philippine Normal College was declared as Philippine
Normal University
The Management Team with the Gawad Sulo nominees and awardees
by virtue of R.A.
7168. It was subsequently declared as Center of Excellence in Teacher Education (COE)
for the National Capital Region and Center for Excellence in Filipino at the national level.
