OBSERVATIONS:
Boiler steel structures are inspected visually and
damages are found due to following reasons.
1)Damages are caused due to improper material handling
practices at port.
2)Damages are also found during direct loading of
materials from vessel itself.
3)Improper stacking of material in vessel at china by DEC is
one more cause for damage.
4)Wooden packing damages are found in vessel itself.
5)The ship also carried other major consignments of JSW &
BHEL etc., along with TPCIL and all the consignments
were unloaded at same place in restricted space.
6)Materials are stacked one over another by which heavy
weight materials are dumped above the light structures
without suitable packing.
Here with we have advised the agent appointed by BGRESL
for material handling & transportation to our site to take care
of above issues and to avoid the material damages.
